A new study by Zoopla has found that in 39% of households, the decision to move home is initiated by one person alone. In 35% of cases, both partners decide jointly though only a quarter admit to sharing the work of house hunting equally.
And with nearly three quarters of children having a say in choosing a family home, their must-haves are becoming central to the search yet they are much less likely than adults to make concessions.
